Southeastern Nanotechnology Infrastructure Corridor (SENIC)-IEN Education Presentation at the Georgia STEM Forum

Primary tabs

The Georgia STEM forum is an annual event co-sponsored by the Georgia Department of Education and the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education Resource Network (CTAERN). The event is held at the Classic Center at Athens, Georgia and is the premier state event bringing together experts who provide information on how teachers and schools can prepare K-12 students for 21st Century workplace careers through high quality educational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Joyce Allen presented two workshops entitled: Nanoscale Science and Engineering (NSE) Resources for Grades 3-12. The workshops focused on activities that can be used to conduct a Family Science Night on nanoscale science and engineering. In addition, IEN had an exhibit booth for the distribution of nanotechnology-focused education resources. If you want to learn how to conduct such a Family Science night at our school, please contact: joyce.allen@ien.gatech.edu
