Georgia Tech's graduate programs make US Top 10

The Georgia Institute of Technology provides some of the best technologically-focused graduate degrees in the nation, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s 2017 rankings of graduate programs.
The Institute’s College of Engineering ranked No. 7, No. 3 among public universities, and all 11 of the programs within the college are ranked in the top 10, including:
- Industrial Engineering (No. 1)
- Aerospace Engineering (No. 2)
- Biomedical and Bioengineering (No. 2)
- Civil Engineering (No. 4)
- Environmental Engineering (No. 5)
- Computer Engineering (No. 6)
- Electrical Engineering (No. 6)
- Mechanical Engineering (No. 6)
- Chemical Engineering (No. 8)
- Materials Engineering (No. 8)
- Nuclear Engineering (No. 8)
As with the 2016 edition, Georgia Tech appears within the Top 10 of all related engineering specialty rankings. MIT rejoined Georgia Tech for most appearances (11) on the Top 10 engineering specialty rankings, and Stanford joined them with the introduction of a 13th specialty this year - Petroleum Engineering.
The Scheller College of Business full-time MBA program ranked No. 34. In the specialty rankings, Scheller College ranked No. 11 in Information Systems, No. 12 in Production/Operations Management and No. 21 in Supply Chain/Logistics.. The Institute’s part-time MBA program ranked No. 23.
The School of Public Policy in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts moved up eight spots and is now ranked 45 overall. In addition, the school was ranked second nationally in the information and technology management specialty, and for the first time, the School landed in the rankings at 22 for the public policy analysis specialty.
