Stamps Scholarship National Convention

Primary tabs

This weekend, close to 500 outstanding students from across the nation are converging on the Georgia Tech campus for the third Biennial Stamps Scholars National Convention.

And to think, this is where it all started.

In 2006, Georgia Tech alumnus E. Roe Stamps (IE 1967; MS 1972) and his wife, Penny (B.A. University of Michigan), created a multi-year, merit-based scholarship program for a handful of undergraduates at their respective alma maters, where their name already graced a number of buildings and programs.

Nowadays, the couple’s Stamps Family Charitable Foundation supports approximately 590 Stamps Scholars at 43 colleges and universities nationwide.
