RCR Training Available for NSF and NIH Funded Postdocs - Fall 2014

The GT RCR Compliance Policy requires students and postdocs funded by certain NSF and NIH projects to complete in-person RCR training.**  This is in addition to the online CITI RCR training requirement.  RCR training is a condition of the award and is a GT deliverable.

Postdoctoral researchers who have been encouraged by their PI/PD to attend PHIL 6000 must register through OSP’s Training system (using the links below).

* NOTE:  GRADUATE STUDENTS MUST REGISTER FOR PHIL 6000 THROUGH OSCAR. UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ATTEND PHIL 6000.*

  • PHIL 6000JB: 9:05AM-4:55PM on Thursday, August 14 & Friday, August 15 only;  Instructional Center 213.  Register for Section JB
  • PHIL 6000B1: 4:35PM-6:25PM on Tuesdays from August 19 to September 30; DM Smith 207.  Register for Section B1
  • PHIL 6000B2: 12:05PM-1:55PM on Mondays from August 18 to October 6; Instructional Center 115.   Register for Section B2

 ** Applicable NSF projects require 4 hours of in-person training; applicable NIH projects require 8 hours.  (Applicable projects are flagged with the RCR/Ethics Training requirement in the OSP Contract Information System.)
