Georgia Tech students are known for their strengths in the sciences and engineering, but the Student View exhibition will showcase their gifts in written, oral, visual, electronic, and non-verbal communication during a showing on Georgia Tech Student Night at Atlanta's Woodruff Arts Center on February 16th.

A collaboration between the Writing and Communication Program and the Ferst Center for the Arts, the inaugural Student View exhibited at the Ferst Center December 12 - January 18th.  Works produced in composition and English studies classrooms were displayed in five categories: Collage, Mosaic, Digital Media, Poster Art, and Film. Notable works included a film about protesting lint, a new vision of Monet’s beloved Giverny, and a self-portrait made up of thousands of tiny images and words.

Georgia Tech Student Night is Thursday, February 16th, from 5 to 8 pm. Students will also have the chance to learn more about the Woodruff Arts Center Student Season Pass that grants students free admission to the High Museum, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the Alliance Theatre for only $20! Georgia Tech Student Night is free to all Georgia Tech students. Stinger buses will provide free pick-up and drop-off at the Student Center before and after the event.
