CQGRD is conducting a comprehensive Health Impact Assessment (HIA) on PLAN 2040, the region's long-term comprehensive plan integrating transportation and land use, housing, greenspace, water, and air quality through the year 2040. CQGRD will use a series of surveys to find out which health issues are of greatest importance to the Atlanta region. The first survey asks you about the community you live in, how your community might change as a result of PLAN 2040, and how you think that affects your health. Your answers will help CQGRD set priorities and see what we need to investigate more thoroughly. Click here to take the survey now.

In the coming year, we will let participants know what we learned from these questions, as well as other forms of public involvement and health data. We will also conduct at least one more survey, where the metropolitan Atlanta community will be able to further comment on the potential effects of PLAN 2040 on their health.
