Full Summary: October 15th - 9AM to 12 PM.  Elementary Student Weekend Workshop held at the College of Computing, Room 345.  Programming Scratch animations and Lego creations with WeDos.

Elementary Student Weekend Workshops

The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) will offer a series of weekend computing workshops for 4th - 6th graders. Each workshop will be $25 per person. Each will have a maximum of 24 students. The workshop will take place in the College of Computing, room 345. The workshops run from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Scratch and WeDosScratch - Interactive Storytelling. Storybook "apps" for the iPad feature sound, graphics, and animation to make stories engaging and fun! Students will use Scratch to create a short Interactive Story. In addition students will make Lego Creations with "We-Do" and connect them to the Scratch Animations.
