The Georgia Institute of Technology has received $200,000 from the Coca-Cola Foundation for student scholarships to China in support of the national 100,000 Strong Initiative.
The gift will send a total of 30 students – 20 on faculty-led summer programs; five for one-year deep immersion; and five for semester-long programs.
Georgia Tech is one of six schools getting a slice of $1 million that will enable 160 students from U.S. universities to experience China firsthand.
