Caps Off to Our Graduates

The Office of Conference Services would like to recognize the seniors on our staff, not only for their hard work, dedication and contribution to our efforts but also for their academic accomplishment. You have studied throughout the night; worked on countless papers and projects; sweated over exams; laughed, cried and everything in between. To this we say congratulations and a hearty thank you! You made it! You are a Georgia Institute of Technology graduate!

We celebrate you and appreciate everything you have contributed to make our office a success. We hope your time working with us has been as beneficial to you as it has been to us. We wish you health, happiness, blessings and every good thing.

Jordan Baxter

Major: Biology with a certificate in Integrative Biology

What I learned working with conference services: You never know what is on the other side of the phone, and it is important to be prepared for anything. From my experience at Conference Services, I have learned how to problem solve in a moment’s notice. It is a skill that I know will get me far in my career.

Other Involvement at Georgia Tech: GT RHA, GT Goldfellas

Favorite Georgia Tech Memory: It is really hard to pick just one. However, being surrounded by my fellow student leaders and working together to help make this campus better has been a really rewarding experience. All of them have made such a positive impact on my life, and made me a better person overall.

Advice to Incoming First-Year Students: Get involved! It is easy to let school consume you, but having a balanced social life is important. There are countless opportunities for you and a guarantee that there is a group for you. Tech is simply not about earning a degree and moving on.
