Associate professor Amit Prasad appeared on the 90.1 FM WABE radio show "Did you wash your hands?" on Thursday, May 13th. The 23-minute episode, hosted by Sam Whitehead, explored the “cultural and historical reasons why people believe misinformation about the pandemic.”

According to Prasad, people believe Covid conspiracy theories for more than just "anti-science" reasons and understanding that can help address the spread of misinformation more effectively.
