Following Dr. Cohen’s presentation, professors Jarrod Hayes, Lawrence Rubin, and Adam Stulberg of The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs will discuss the strategic implications of nuclear opacity for nuclear nonproliferation and arms control, both regionally and globally.

Dr. Avner Cohen is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies of the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Prior to this position, he served as a Public Policy Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for International and Security Studies at the University of Maryland. He is the author of numerous books and articles, including Israel and the Bomb, is a frequent op-ed contributor in the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and Ha' aretz, and has appeared as a guest on various cable TV news shows.
