President Cabrera to Speak at Network for Change and Continuous Innovation Conference

President Ángel Cabrera will join two other university presidents for a panel discussion at the 2020 Network for Change and Continuous Innovation (NCCI) virtual conference on July 8 and 9. 

Alongside Mark Becker, president of Georgia State University, and Cynthia Teniente-Matson, president of Texas A&M University-San Antonio, President Cabrera will explore the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic and offer strategies and insights on how higher education can best move forward in the pursuit of excellence, improvement, and innovation. The presidential panel will convene at 3:30 p.m. on July 9.

In addition to the Presidential Panel, this year’s conference, “Transforming Today’s Reality Into Tomorrow’s Opportunity,” will feature live keynotes, interactive sessions, and virtual networking on learning components related to leadership, change management, and organizational performance. A nonprofit association founded in 1999, NCCI aims to position institutions of higher education to be agile, lifelong learning models to transform lives and communities around the world. The association’s resources and programming are dedicated to improving higher education nationally and internationally by providing a collaborative professional network for change leaders.

Registration

Georgia Tech is an institutional member of NCCI, so all Georgia Tech employees may register to attend this virtual conference at no cost. The registration deadline is Monday, July 6.

If you already have an NCCI account, you may register here. If you don’t already have an NCCI account, follow the steps below:

  1. Visit ncci-cu.org.
  2. Click on “My Account” in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
  3. Click on “Get Started” under “New member? Forgot your password?” and follow the prompts to create an account
  4. While setting up your account, enter “Georgia Institute of Technology” as your “Affiliated Account” to take advantage of Georgia Tech’s institutional membership.
  5. Once your account is set up, follow the prompts to register for the 2020 NCCI Virtual Conference.
