Nominations Sought for Next Engineering Dean
Primary tabs
The chair of the search committee to select Georgia Tech’s next dean of the College of Engineering has announced an open call for recommendations and nominations to lead the Institute’s largest academic unit.
In an email to the College’s faculty and staff, Regents’ Professor Mostafa El-Sayed, said that the committee met in mid-October with Provost Rafael Bras to discuss the search and provide general direction and guidance. The Institute has selected the search firm Heidrick & Struggles to support this national search.
The search committee will now begin to advertise the position nationally, and are seeking campus assistance in identifying and nominating the best candidates.
El-Sayed said there are two ways to nominate: either e-mail the candidate's name, affiliation, and other relevant information to him at melsayed@gatech.edu, or send the information directly to the following address. All nominations are confidential.
Ellen Brown or Randy Jayne
