Computer Model Can Predict How Swine Flu Would Spread Through Georgia

There's a good chance if the swine flu comes to Georgia it will be via an airport or other high-traffic hub. That makes Atlanta a prime suspect. Using a computer model Georgia Tech researchers developed, the state could then predict where and how quickly the virus might spread. Julie Swann is a Georgia Tech professor who helped develop the model. She says it aids state officials in making policy decisions based on different scenarios. Read more>>>>
