Andrew Roberts is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Northwestern University. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science at Princeton University in 2003. He has a forthcoming book to be published by Cambridge University Press titled, "The Quality of Democracy in Eastern Europe: Public Preferences and Policy Choices." He has also published a book titled, "From Good King Wenceslas to the Good Soldier Svejk: A Dictionary of Czech Culture (Central European University Press, 2005)". His main fields of interest are Eastern Europe, democracy, democratic institutions, and social policy. He also recently completed a manuscript titled "The Not For Dummies Guide to College".
