Georgia spaceport project hinges on liability shield law

Georgia House Study Committee held a hearing today on the impact that a spaceport could have in Camden County, GA. Georgia Tech professor Bobby Braun gave testamony on the diversity of the aerospace economy in Georgia and how the Camden Spaceport could be integrated,
“Georgia space is broader than Camden County,” he said. “But Camden County is a very important piece of our space portfolio.”
The subcommittee will hold a second and final meeting next month in Camden County.
