Works on Paper Exhibit Leaves an 'Impression'

Primary tabs

The Georgia Tech Library and Information Center hosts an exhibit in association with the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum featuring the work of some of the world's foremost paper artists. The exhibit is being held in conjunction with the annual conference of the Friends of Dard Hunter, an international organization whose members' interests center around handmade paper and related arts and crafts.

"This annual conference meets in locations around the world, so it is quite an honor for the group to come to Atlanta," said Cindy Bowden, director of the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum.

The exhibit is a juried art show in the Library's Neely Gallery.  A panel of jurors selected works by 35 members of the Friends of Dard Hunter for Make an Impression! The Art of Combining Paper and Print. All methods of printing on handmade paper were considered, and the exhibit will be open to the public through January 4, 2010. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
