Lobdell Co-edits Special Issue of Nineteenth-Century Gender Studies

Nicole Lobdell is a third-year Brittain Fellow who received her PhD from the University of Georgia. Her primary fields of interest include 18th and 19th century British literature and culture and the novel.

The issue includes an introduction prepared by Lobdell and her co-editor as well as essays on Thackeray, Charlotte Yonge, Hawthorne, and women illustrators in late nineteenth-century Philadelphia.
