AMIS (pronounced ah-mee’) is a French word that means “friends” and symbolizes the organizations' mission of friendship and hospitality. AMIS connects international students and scholars at colleges and universities with local families and individuals who want to serve and socialize across cultures.
AMIS will be hosting its 38th Annual International Student Welcome Concert and Reception. For the first time, this event will take place on Georgia Tech's campus! International students from colleges and universities throughout the city are invited to attend. The event will include a jazz band performance and a reception (with free food!) for new international students in the Atlanta area.
