Please have your department place the FY2015 Georgia Tech Auto Insurance I.D. in all of your Institute (state) vehicles. Also, if employees use their personal vehicle or a rental vehicle to conduct Institute (state) business they should carry this document with them. This is the document a Georgia Tech employee should show the police if they are in an accident on Institute (state) business. Last, please note thedocument contains a toll free number (1-877-656-7475) to report an accident immediately, but no later than 48 hours.

 Please be advised, Georgia Tech auto liability coverage addresses damage and/or injury to others caused by a Georgia Tech employee while on Institute business . It does not pay for damages to an employee’s personal vehicle.
