Starting fall 2012, $25 will be assessed to students who hold an F or J student visa each semester of enrollment at Tech.  
The fee will allow Georgia Tech to continue to provide comprehensive services and activities to serve and support international students at the University. Money generated by this fee will be used by the institution to maintain current services in light of continued growth of the international student population as well as implement new initiatives that support the international student community.
