Dr. Rachel Lieberman is the recipient of the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation/AFAR New Investigator Award in Alzheimer Disease.
This is one year grant from the American Federation for Aging Research will be used to study the structure and function of a protease related to the generation of beta amyloids that play a role in the development of Alzheimer's disease. Insights into these studies will advance the development of structure-based design of potential therapeutic agents. We look forward to Dr. Leiberman report new innovative discoveries in the area of aging research.
