  • Greg Blekherman

Dr. Blekherman's research interests are applied algebraic geometry, convex geometry, optimization, mathematical bioology. His work focuses on the interplay between convex and algebraic geometry, especially in the area of sums of squares approximations to nonnegative polynomials. He is also interested in the appearance of algebraic invariants in mathematical biology. His interests there lie in applications of topological data analysis and discrete dynamical systems.
