Bio

As the Communications Officer, Michaelanne is responsible for media relations and social media for the College of Computing. She holds a master’s degree in cyber anthropology and her research focused on human interaction with social networking sites. Previously, Michaelanne worked as the Digital Media Specialist for the Georgia Aquarium where she helped start the digital media department. Having worked in communications for more than six years, she has experience promoting national brands through traditional and digital media. An Atlanta native, Michaelanne received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.
