Product Evaluators Needed in GTRI Research

Primary tabs

As the national test lab for the Arthritis Foundation's Ease of Use Commendation program, the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking participants with arthritis to test consumer products under consideration by the Foundation. In order to receive the commendation, consumer products must undergo independent testing.

Sessions consist of a discussion about the product, strength measurements needed to use the product-such opening a bottle cap-and a product use assessment. Each evaluation takes approximately one hour to complete, and participants are paid $30 an hour.

GTRI's findings are sent to the product's manufacturer and to the Arthritis Foundation, either for product improvements to be made or to be awarded the commendation.

GTRI attempts to match the products tested with interests and abilities of participants. Signing up does not represent an obligation to participate.
Volunteers who wish to participate in product testing should contact Liz Weldon at 404-407-8438 or e-mail her at elizabeth.weldon@gtri.gatech.edu.
