Taste of Africa

This year’s theme , ”MAX”,  is a celebration of Afro-maximalism and unapologetic Blackness. This show seeks to encourage the belief that African and diasporic cultures are not meant to  be shrunk , muted or simplified but instead, embrace boldness in every form. We want to highlight  the abundance, creativity and power that comes when people feel pride in taking up space without compromise. “MAX” rejects suppression in favor of fitting in, honoring the many traditions, innovations and identities that make African culture a force to be reckoned with.
