Learn about Conflict of Interest at Georgia Tech
Enjoy coffee and networking as you learn how to navigate the conflict of interest process at Georgia Tech.
Hear from Terry Bridges, director for Conflict of Interest at Georgia Tech. Bridges leads efforts to identify, manage, and mitigate situations in which personal interests could compromise—or appear to compromise—professional judgment or objectivity.
In this session, you will:
- Explore the challenges faculty entrepreneurs face when navigating conflict-of-interest requirements and commercialization processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce administrative barriers, and improve the faculty experience.
- Understand how Georgia Tech balances research integrity and institutional compliance with its commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation. This is a great opportunity to get all your patent questions answered.
