Search for RBI's New Executive Director 

The search for the next executive director of the Renewable Bioproducts Institute (RBI) will be chaired by Regents' Professor Beril Toktay from the Scheller College of Business and supported by the office of the Vice President for Interdisciplinary Research (VPIR). The chosen candidate is expected to start in late summer 2027.

To inform the Georgia Tech community about the search process and to answer questions, as well as to receive feedback about the search and what people wish to see in a future executive director, we have scheduled a town hall meeting to which all RBI personnel, affiliated faculty, students, and all of the GT community are welcome.

The town hall meeting will be hosted by Beril Toktay and Julia Kubanek, and several members of the search committee will be present for this hybrid event.
