The 2027 General Safety Annual Training Program is an 11-week safety education initiative designed for Infrastructure & Operations employees, including Areas 1-5, Utilities, Landscaping, Waste Services and other Facilities operations. The program is intended to strengthen workplace safety awareness, enhance regulatory compliance, and reduce employee injuries through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and practical safety exercises. 

Training topics will include: 

• Injury Reporting & Incident Prevention
• Ladder Safety Awareness
• Fall Protection
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Electrical Safety Awareness
• Confined Space Entry
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Slip, Trip & Fall Prevention
• Body Mechanics & Ergonomics
• Equipment and Vehicle Safety
• Department-Specific Hazard Awareness Training

The 2027 program supports Georgia Tech's goal of building a proactive safety culture by providing employees with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to recognize hazards, prevent injuries, and work safely every day.

1. Go to Genius LMS and use your GT Login
2. Click "View Course Catalog"
3. Search for "Annual Safety"
4. Click "Register" for your preferred date
5. Click "Proceed to Checkout" and follow the instructions
