Fall 2027 GTDC: Pathways to Policy Program Information Session

Spend a semester in Washington, D.C., gaining professional experience, building a valuable network, and exploring career opportunities in foreign policy, national security, diplomacy, international development, public service, and consulting.  

GTDC students complete an internship while taking two Georgia Tech courses in the evening, allowing them to maintain a full academic course load. Internship opportunities may include government agencies, congressional offices, think tanks, embassies, consulting firms, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations. 

 Admissions are rolling, and early applicants will receive priority consideration. The program is limited to 20 students per semester. 

Program Highlights

  • A full-time internship
  • Two evening courses that may count toward Core C, Core E, the International Plan, or a minor, major, or certificate in INTA, PUBP, LST, POL, or PHIL
  • Access to Georgia Tech’s extensive Washington-area alumni network
  • An individually assigned professional mentor
  • Career advising and professional-development programming
