Mapping Data Centers for Climate Resilience: A Tableau and HCI Approach

Primary tabs

Join the Georgia Tech Library Tuesday, September 15 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for our Mapping Data Centers for Climate Resilience: A Tableau and HCI Approach workshop.

Learn the fundamentals of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and data visualization through the lens of climate resilience and data center location data. Participants will learn basic data visualization concepts in Tableau—including building charts and maps—while exploring how design choices shape user experience and understanding.

Using real-world datasets, attendees will examine how interface design and data presentation influence interpretation and decision-making. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops, though computers will be available in the room.

Registration is required.
