The Center for Geographic Information Systems (CGIS) is an interdisciplinary research center focused on GIS technology applications, education, and providing innovative solutions to diverse real-world problems. Administered through Georgia Tech's College of Architecture, the center delivers the next generation of geospatial technologies, applying GIS tools and technologies to a variety of research and industry problems. CGIS serves as a leader and catalyst for the advancement of GIS technology for academic institutions, private industry and the public sector.
