ImmerseGT 2026 XR Hackathon
Primary tabs
Join ImmerseGT 2026, a 36-hour extended reality (XR) hackathon hosted at Georgia Institute of Technology from April 10–12. This high-energy event brings together over 300 students to collaborate, build, and innovate using cutting-edge immersive technologies.
Hosted in the ADC XR Makerspace in the Klaus Atrium, participants will have access to XR devices and tools to create projects spanning virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality experiences. With over $10,000 in prizes, the hackathon encourages bold ideas and creative problem-solving.
ImmerseGT is part of a broader ecosystem of immersive learning and research at Georgia Tech, including initiatives like the Lab for Interaction and Immersion, which explores areas such as spatial audio, human-computer interaction, and electronic music.
Whether you're a developer, designer, or just curious about XR, ImmerseGT offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, collaborate with peers, and push the boundaries of immersive technology.
