The first portion details research in Articulatory Phonology, specifically the utilization of real-time MRI (rtMRI) to analyze the physiological mechanisms of speech production within the human vocal tract. 

The second portion provides an overview of how linguistics contributes to the Speech Technologies sector, focusing on the development and deployment of Text-to-Speech (TTS) systems.
