Prismatic: Belonging in View

Primary tabs

Join the Georgia Tech community for Prismatic: Belonging in View, an exhibition featuring the work of 15 graduate student co-researchers exploring what it means to build community and find balance on campus. The exhibit is on display in the Interactive Media Zone (IMZ) at Price Gilbert Memorial Library through April 16.

Using the photovoice research method, students combine photography and narrative to share personal and often anonymous perspectives on belonging. The exhibition presents these stories through a visually engaging design inspired by prisms, branches, and monochrome elements, bringing themes of identity and connection into focus.

A special event day includes a welcome reception, followed by a student research and artist panel, and an exhibit showcase. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the work, hear directly from student creators, and learn more about arts-based research practices.

Supported in part by a Georgia Tech Arts Catalyst Grant, the exhibition is open to all who are interested in exploring graduate student life, creative research, and the meaning of belonging.
