LibreLocal 2026 - Free Software Foundation x LibreTech Collective

Primary tabs

118 Seminar Room Kendeda

LibreTech Collective invites students, developers, and free software/hardware advocates across the Atlanta area to join us for a LibreLocal 2026 meetup at Georgia Tech's Kendeda Building - one of the most sustainably designed spaces in the world and a fitting home for a gathering centered on technological freedom.

This event is part of the Free Software Foundation's global LibreLocal 2026 initiative, which brings communities together every May to share ideas, celebrate free software, and advance the principles of user freedom. Whether you're a seasoned free software contributor or just beginning to explore what software freedom means, this meetup is for you.

Expect talks, demos, and open discussion on topics including philosophy, decentralized and privacy-respecting tools, software licensing, and building technology that respects your freedom.

Come ready to learn, share, and connect with like-minded technologists in the Atlanta area who believe that free software is not just a technical preference - it's a matter of justice.

FREE FOOD/DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE FSF WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! FREE GOODIES FOR EVERYONE.

This event is organized by independent volunteers and is affiliated with the FSF's LibreLocal 2026 program.
