Preparing Communities for Increasingly Severe Weather: Science, Data, and Community Leadership

Primary tabs

These events will feature Mathy Stanislaus from The Environmental Collaboratory at Drexel University; Dan Kilpatrick from the Arnold School of Public Health at University of South Carolina; and community and government leaders from the Atlanta region, sharing insights on how data, research, and partnerships can support community leadership before, during, and after extreme weather events. The catalyst for these discussions is The Environmental Collaboratory’s newly-released report, “Community-Level Preparedness and Recovery for Increasingly Severe Weather” (see press release here). Join us as we hear from academic, government, and community partners about how collaboration - with communities in the driver's seat - can strengthen resilience across the Atlanta region.
