Abstract: NASA's Mission Juno began operations orbiting Jupiter on July 4, 2016, with a prime mission which contained 33 orbits and focused on studying the deep interior, atmosphere, and magnetosphere using remote sensing techniques involving meter-wave, microwave, infrared, optical and ultraviolet sensors. The first extended mission commenced in August 2021, and involved new techniques for studying Jupiter's environment as well as Jovian satellites (moons) Ganymede, Europa, and Io.
The Juno spacecraft, instruments, and novel results will be presented.
