A Night of Percussion brings together the Georgia Tech Percussion Ensembles for a dynamic concert exploring the creative possibilities of percussion performance. The ensembles study and perform a wide range of music, including classical and contemporary works, as well as transcriptions of jazz, pop, and other musical styles.

The performance also highlights innovative percussion techniques, including electronically triggered devices, and creative staging that blends visual and auditory elements. Performers often transform everyday surfaces and objects into instruments, turning them into canvases for rhythmic and sonic expression.

This combination of traditional repertoire and experimental approaches creates a unique concert experience where rhythm, movement, and sound come together. The event is free and open to the public.
