Join us for a special edition of ConCave’s Lightning Talks. This series is a chance to share new research and ideas in Architecture, Building Construction, City and Regional Planning, and Music. If you’re interested in design or innovation, you’re welcome to attend.
Our keynote speaker is Prof. Janina Gosseye, Professor of Building Ideologies at TU Delft’s Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment. She has worked in Belgium, Australia, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Prof. Gosseye is the series editor for ‘Bloomsbury Studies in Modern Architecture’ series and holds honorary positions at the University of Queensland and the Australian Institute of Architects.
Prof. Gosseye’s research explores the intersection of 20th-century architecture and urban history connect with social and political issues. She has published in international journals and written books on urban design, activism, and architectural history.
During the45-minute presentation, Prof. Gosseye will share her research journey, reflect on the institutional support that shaped her path, and discuss career choices in academia. She will also provide valuable insights into research structures and opportunities available at TU Delft for prospective graduate students.
After the talk, there will be a Q&A session with Prof. Gosseye.
