About David Satterfield

David Satterfield is the former U.S. Ambassador to Turkiye and Lebanon, Acting Assistant Secretary for the Near East, Presidential Special Envoy for Middle East Humanitarian Issues in Gaza, special envoy for the Horn of Africa, National Security Council staff director, and now Director of the James A. Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University. 

Nunn School of International Affairs Professor of the Practice and Ambassador (ret.) Lawrence Silverman will conduct a dialogue with David, followed by your questions for Ambassador Satterfield.
