Designing for Climate Resilience: A Tableau and HCI Approach

Primary tabs

Join the Georgia Tech Library in person Tuesday, March 17 in Crosland Tower's Second Floor Classroom from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for our Designing for Climate Resilience: A Tableau and HCI Approach workshop.

Learn the fundamentals of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and data visualization through the lens of climate data. Participants will learn basic data visualization concepts in Tableau—including building charts and maps—while exploring how design choices shape user experience and understanding.

Using real-world climate datasets, attendees will examine how interface design and data presentation influence interpretation and decision-making. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops, though computers will be available in the room.

Registration is required. There are 30 seats available.
