Heading into the Fall 2011, the FCC plans to tackle important reform issues dealing with the three largest programs within the Federal USF: High-Cost; Lifeline/Link-Up; and E-Rate.
Come and participate in a discussion of some of the important issues the FCC will wrestle with, including:
1. The role of the states in broadband infrastructure subsidies for high-cost areas and broadband low-income subsidies;
2. The right approach to broadband subsidies to avoid disruptions in the competitive broadband market; and
3. The intersection between mobility and speed in broadband and broadband subsidies.
