Social Dance Lessons

Join SDSC on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 7:00–8:00 PM in Kendeda 230 for Social Dance Lessons. This free event provides lessons in a variety of social dance styles, followed by a 30-minute social where participants can practice, get individual feedback from instructors, and socialize. Intermediate lessons run from 8:30–9:30 PM for those ready for a challenge. Social dancing at Georgia Tech combines exercise, music, and community building in a welcoming and inclusive environment. No partner or special clothing is needed—just come ready to move and have fun!
Summary
Social Dance Lessons with SDSC offer free weekly instruction in multiple dance styles, including 6-Count Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, and West Coast Swing. Each session features a one-hour lesson, followed by a 30-minute social for practice and one-on-one guidance from instructors. Intermediate lessons are also available later in the evening. The program encourages community, fun, exercise, and stress relief, welcoming participants of all skill levels—no partner or special attire required.
