-------
From 2001 to 2007, Georgia Tech’s ADVANCE Professors Program was one of nine institutions to receive a National Science Foundation Institutional Transformation award in the first cohort of awardees. Originally designed to facilitate the advancement of women tenure track faculty, particularly within STEM fields, the ADVANCE Professors represent six Georgia Tech Colleges and advocate for all campus faculty. Housed in the Office of the Provost, this inter-college network champions faculty development and success while supporting Georgia Tech’s Strategic Plan Foundational Priorities which includes building a sustainable campus climate that bolsters faculty productivity and well-being.
