C21U Learning Lab: Designing Immersive Experiences for Leadership Development

Join C21U Research Scientist Meryem Yilmaz Soylu, College of Lifetime Learning Instructional Media Production Manager Desmond Gardfrey, School of Materials Science and Engineering Associate Chair for Undergraduate Programs Mary Lynn Realff, and GTPE Instructional Designer Shakis Hall to examine how immersive VR can support leadership development in online graduate education.
The team will share their approach to embedding shared leadership principles into case-based VR scenarios and demonstrate how learners engage with the experience through sample interactions and live walkthroughs, followed by a discussion of pedagogical and design implications that may inform future immersive learning efforts across Georgia Tech.
