Technology Design and Ethics in India Online Information Session

Join us on Wednesday, January 14 from 7:00–8:00 PM (ET) for an online information session on the new Technology Design and Ethics in India program, hosted via Zoom.
This 6-week program includes 4 weeks of instruction in Atlanta and 2 weeks in Mumbai, India, offering students a unique opportunity to earn credit while engaging with global perspectives on technology and design. The program’s foundational computer science courses are taught by Georgia Tech CS faculty and Program Director, Naveena Karusala.
Courses include:
- CS 4001 – Computing & Society (Ethics Credit): Examines the global impacts of technology, including issues of globalization, bias, privacy, and ethics.
- CS 3751 – Introduction to User Interface Design: Focuses on culturally situated design practices, culminating in the creation of an original design artifact.
Attendees will learn more about program logistics, academic credit, and the application process. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Applications are currently open.
