Whether you are a current Math PhD or an undergraduate considering a doctoral program, this panel will provide insight into industry, research, data science, and non-traditional math careers. Students will hear firsthand experiences on navigating advanced study and transitioning into various sectors. This event takes place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM in the Cypress Theater, John Lewis Student Center.
Following the panel, attendees will participate in an open networking session to connect directly with speakers and other professionals in mathematics-related fields. Students will gain actionable advice and greater clarity on how to apply mathematical training across different industries.
