HPC MPI Workshop

PACE in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center is pleased to host an HPC workshop on MPI Programming, to be held on January 7-8, 2026.
This workshop is intended to give C and Fortran programmers a hands-on introduction to MPI programming. Both days are compact, to accommodate multiple time zones, but packed with useful information and lab exercises. Attendees will leave with a working knowledge of how to write scalable codes using MPI – the standard programming tool of scalable parallel computing. It will have a hands-on component using the Bridges-2 computing platform at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center.
This event will be held in person at satellite sites, including Georgia Tech.

You must first create an ACCESS ID and log into it, then register for the event. Please note that the deadline to register for the workshop is January 5 at 11 AM, but capacity may be reached prior to that time. Registration is required in order to attend and to access the Bridges2 cluster for the hands-on exercises. Also, note that this workshop is FREE.
