Clinicians, Engineers, and Device Entrepreneurs are invited to tune in to this webinar to learn strategies for effective communication and collaboration between clinicians and engineers to successfully develop medical devices that meet real-world clinical needs.

Lokesh Guglani is a Cystic Fibrosis clinician researcher at the Emory Pediatric CF Center. His research focus is related to various aspects of CF: 

  • CF diagnostics (novel medical device for sweat testing)
  • Imaging (using scoring techniques to quantify regional lung damage)
  • Advance lung function techniques

W Hong Yeo is the Peterson Professor in Pediatric Research of the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering and Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech, the Director of the Wearable Intelligent Systems and Healthcare Center (WISH Center) and the KIAT-Georgia Tech Semiconductor Electronics Center. His research focuses on integration of hard and soft materials for the development of biomedical systems. He is the founder of two startup companies: Huxley Medical, Inc. and WisMedical, Inc.
